Carran’s Working Diary 20: We did it!
The House has opened to the ratepayers and they all seemed happy that the money has been spent responsibly. Bit tired now. We are preparing to travel to some other places to show the concert. We are going to Salford, Beetham, Coventry and Crewe. We are in Salford next week, 11 November and in the mill named after the Heron at Beetham, Cumbria on 24 and 25 November. In the new year we are going to a theatre called The Axis in Crewe which is part of a university in Manchester but it’s actually in Crewe and then we are going to a conference at another university called Warwick which is actually in Coventry. Maybe universities also have identity challenges. What’s your name? Where do you come from? When were you here last? Four weeks since your last stay? Don’t believe you. I’ll have to check in the book. One night only! Wait there.
